By accessing or using HigherEduSpot™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

HigherEduSpot™ offers services including, but not limited to:

- Faculty, research, postdoctoral, administrative, and executive recruitment
- Academic news and editorial content
- Career resources and application guidance
- Institutional promotion and visibility services
- Professional academic profile services
- Student information and educational resources
Services may be updated, expanded, modified, or discontinued as the platform continues to develop.
User Responsibilities
By using HigherEduSpot™, you agree to use the platform lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with these Terms.
Users agree that they will not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems.
- Upload malicious software or interfere with the operation of the website.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
- Use HigherEduSpot™ for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of any information they submit through the platform.
Employer Responsibilities
Institutions and employers posting vacancies on HigherEduSpot™ agree that:
- All job advertisements must describe genuine employment opportunities.
- Employers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and up to date.
- Job advertisements must comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Employers must have the legal authority to recruit for the advertised position.
- HigherEduSpot™ reserves the right to request clarification or supporting information before publication.
Job Posting, Pricing and Payment
Institutions may advertise international higher education vacancies through HigherEduSpot™.
Available job posting plans are shown below.

Payments are processed in advance through the payment methods provided by HigherEduSpot™.
Invoices are issued by Xolo Go OÜ.
Prices shown above are net prices. VAT may apply depending on the institution's location and VAT registration status.
VAT Information
The applicable VAT rate depends on the customer's location in accordance with European Union VAT regulations.

Refund Policy
HigherEduSpot™ is committed to providing transparent pricing and fair billing practices.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, payments for job posting services become non-refundable once a job advertisement has been reviewed or published.
Refund requests may be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payments.
- Billing or processing errors.
- Technical issues that prevent the agreed service from being provided.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original payment date.
HigherEduSpot™ reserves the right to review each request individually and determine eligibility for a refund.
Intellectual Property
All content available on HigherEduSpot™, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, page layouts, and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated:
- HigherEduSpot™ retains all rights to its original content.
- Employers retain ownership of the content contained in their job advertisements.
- Users retain ownership of content they lawfully contribute to the platform.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit HigherEduSpot™ content without prior written permission.
Privacy
The collection, processing, and storage of personal information are governed by the HigherEduSpot™ Privacy Policy.
By using the platform, users acknowledge that their information may be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Platform Availability
HigherEduSpot™ continually improves its services.
From time to time, maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues may temporarily affect platform availability.
HigherEduSpot™ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.
Limitation of Liability
HigherEduSpot™ provides an online platform for academic recruitment and higher education information.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate and reliable content, HigherEduSpot™ does not guarantee:
- Employment outcomes.
- Candidate suitability.
- Accuracy of third-party content.
- Continuous availability of services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HigherEduSpot™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Estonia.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Estonia.
Changes to These Terms
HigherEduSpot™ reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time.
Updated versions will be published on this page together with the revised effective date.
Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
